Launching the activities of the training program “Misr El Khair Fellowship for Sustainable Local Development Practitioner” for the Class of 2022

Sunday 10-16-2022 The activities of the training program “Misr Al-Khair Fellowship for Sustainable Local Development Practitioners” for the Class of 2022 were launched this evening as part of the activities of the Regional Development Exchange Program and sponsored by many local and international organizations and with the participation of 60 participants from civil society organizations from countries (Egypt - Morocco - Syria - Libya - Qatar - Niger - Chad - Somalia - Lebanon - Yemen - Tunisia - Saudi Arabia - Jordan - Djibouti). The opening session began with a speech by Mr. Mohamed Mamdouh - Head of the NGO Development Sector at the Misr El Kheir Foundation. During his speech, His Excellency explained that the Misr El Kheir Foundation seeks, through the launch of the Regional Development Exchange Program, to establish an interactive educational forum between workers in NGOs at the level of the Arab and African regions to facilitate the exchange of Expertise and enhancing best practices, in addition to supporting innovation and creativity in designing development interventions for civil society organizations that are implemented within the framework of sustainable development. It is worth noting that the fellowship program takes 30 training days, ending with each participant submitting a graduation project as one of the requirements for the program’s graduation leave. 🔴The program is approved by several bodies and is provided free of charge to support workers in civil society organizations. The trainers’ staff participated in the meeting, and during the meeting, the Misr Al-Khair Foundation, the activities of the Capacity Building Unit, the training program, its components and its importance were introduced. The schedule for the sessions and the rules for managing the sessions were also agreed upon, and an introduction was made between the attendees.
